Here's some random stuff for you...
I have gotten a lot of guestbook mail. If you've left it, I will get to you, I'm just a little overwhelmed right now, what with Katherine due in just 20 or so days.
Next, did you get the letter from the U. S. Postal Service about how to examine your mail? Was this not the most ridiculous attempt at public education you've seen? It said things like, "don't open packages that look suspicious, that have no return address, or that are oddly shaped", or something like that. It said nothing about, "if you open an envelop, and it contains a letter with anti-American slogans written in child-like handwriting and contains a white or yellow power, please contact your local authorities and the centers for disease control." Now THAT would be advice.
Next up, the Leonids. I stayed up until about 4AM, and got a pretty good show. Actually, I went to bed because the action from 3:30 AM EST to 4AM sucked, and I figured maybe it peaked. So I'm bummed that my dad and other friends got up at 5 and had a brilliant show. But it doesn't matter that much. It was pretty cool, but not earth-shattering, and it put me in the doghouse with Kara. At any rate, the show from 2:30 to 3 was excellent.
I heard that the Lenoids were supposed to be, like four times better in Australia than here on the East cost of the U. S., so if any of you Owczarek's from down under want to give me a shower report, I'd be glad to hear it.
