Even with a major bridge out of service, I don't encounter any kind of serious traffic on the way to and from work
The sunrise and sunset are dependably spectacular
The people are nice and friendly
It's a city of manageable size, and easy to get around
Hotels and food are good and reasonably priced
It is warmer than Boston, but still winter
The riverboat casinos only look like riverboats, and I doubt they float
There is an enormous Cabella's nearby
The airport is fast to get in and out of, and seems to be very on-time
It spans two states - now you're in Missouri, then you're in Kansas
